Paul and Caroline currently teach at DanceWorld in Guildford but are also starting classes in Alfold in October 2006. They do a range of classes through the week and also Private Lessons to Social Dancers, Competitors and Wedding couples. See below for details of the Guildford Classes:-

DanceWorld, Trinity Halls, Off High Street, Guildford, Surrey GU1 3RR

Tuesday 7.15pm to 8.15 pm Jive/Latin. We do half an hour of Swing and Jive, then half an hour of one of the Latin American dances.

Wednesday 7.45pm to 8.45pm Latin Fever/Ballroom Blitz. This is a beginners Latin American and Ballroom class. We do two or three weeks of a Latin American dance then two or three weeks of a Ballroom dance.

Thursday 8.30pm to 9.30pm Salsa/Latin. Salsa is a generic term for Latin.

The five basic Latin American dances are Rumba, Samba, Cha Cha Cha, Paso Doble, Jive. We also cover Salsa, Merengue, Bosa Nova, Latin Beat etc.

The Ballroom dances are Waltz, Quickstep, Tango, Foxtrot and Social Foxtrot.

What to wear. We would recommend to wear something you can move freely in, quite casual. Shoes for ladies, we would recommend something with a slight heel if possible but not essential. As long as the shoe fits securly to the foot (not flip flops). Trainers are not the best thing to wear as they are quite sticky when you want to turn.

We teach Private Lessons from 5.00pm to the start of class on Tuesday and Wednesday. Other times can be arranged by special appointment. They cost £30 an hour and you need to call 01483 271463 or 07966828883 to arrange.
