Paul and Caroline currently teach at DanceWorld in Guildford but are also starting classes in Alfold in October 2006. They do a range of classes through the week and also Private Lessons to Social Dancers, Competitors and Wedding couples. See below for details of the Alfold Classes:-

From Wednesday 11th October 2006 Paul and Caroline will be starting another Latin American/Ballroom beginners class in Alfold.

Alfold Hall, Dunsfold Road, Alfold, Cranleigh, Surrey GU6 8JB

From Wednesday 11th October 2006 8pm to 9pm Beginners Latin American/Ballroom class, £7 per person, just turn up and pay as you go. You do not need a partner, if you can find someone to bring with you, would be good but not essential.

We will do two or three weeks of a Latin American dance then two or three weeks of a Ballroom dance.

The five basic Latin American dances are Rumba, Samba, Cha Cha Cha, Paso Doble, Jive. We also cover Salsa, Merengue, Bosa Nova, Latin Beat etc.

The Ballroom dances are Waltz, Quickstep, Tango, Foxtrot and Social Foxtrot.

What to wear. We would recommend to wear something you can move freely in, quite casual. Shoes for ladies, we would recommend something with a slight heel if possible but not essential. As long as the shoe fits securly to the foot (not flip flops). Trainers are not the best thing to wear as they are quite sticky when you want to turn.

Private Lessons can also be taken from 5pm to the start of the class. Other times can be arranged by special appointment. They cost £30 an hour and you need to call 01483 271463 or 07966828883 to arrange.
